ABOUt
Linda K. Yarrow, PhD, RDN, LD, CDCES, is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the School of Health Sciences at Kansas State University and a highly accomplished clinician, educator, and scholar. With over four decades of experience in clinical nutrition and dietetics, she has demonstrated excellence in medical nutrition therapy, diabetes care, and cardiovascular health. Dr. Yarrow is recognized for her innovative, student-centered teaching and has received multiple prestigious awards for excellence in undergraduate and online education.
As Founder and Co-Director of the Guatemala Service-Learning Program, she has created impactful applied learning experiences that integrate global health, community engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her scholarship includes peer-reviewed publications, funded research, and national presentations focused on nutrition education, chronic disease prevention, and teaching innovation. Dr. Yarrow's work reflects a sustained commitment to advancing nutrition education, fostering student success, and improving health outcomes at both local and global levels.
