Department of Entomology

ABOUt

Dr. Jeremy L. Marshall is a Professor of Entomology at Kansas State University whose career has been defined by building connected educational ecosystems: structures that help students encounter insect biology, enter the university, succeed in the classroom, participate in research, and move toward meaningful careers. Whether it's creating a new B.S. program, developing an Undergraduate Research Experience (URE), redesigning curricula, developing new courses, mentoring students, creating FFA resources, recruiting nationally, or incorporating AI and universal design into instruction, his core objective remains constant: create opportunities that didn't exist before and build them into lasting, institutional assets. His work combines the perspective of a scientist with the practical leadership of a curriculum designer, program builder, advisor, and advocate for students.
