Yu Zhang

Yu Yulia� Zhang, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in Personal Financial Planning program at Kansas State University. Her scholarship focuses on household finance, financial well-being, financial literacy and education, financial technology, investor behavior, financial stress and anxiety, and financial capability development. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. Her work has received multiple honors, including best paper and best poster awards from professional associations. In addition to her research, Dr. Zhang teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in personal financial planning, research methods, statistical methods, risk management, and professional issues. She also contributes to the profession through editorial board service, journal reviewing, professional association leadership, graduate student mentoring, and funded research projects.
