Dr. Zhang's research examines how individuals and households make financial decisions and how these decisions shape financial and psychological well-being. Her work focuses on financial literacy, financial education, financial capability, financial stress and anxiety, financial help-seeking, investor behavior, fintech use, investing behavior, retirement awareness, adolescent financial development, and the links between personal finance and subjective well-being. Her research often integrates behavioral, psychological, and social factors to better understand financial decision-making across diverse populations, including young adults, adolescents, investors, and financially vulnerable households.
