TEACHING

His teaching interests vary as a result of his personal experiences and how earth science can be applied toward living on Earth. Because of these broad interests, he teaches an array of courses from introductory-level undergraduate to graduate-level (lecture, field, and/or seminar based; field-based course are my favorite). In addition to geology, Brueseke has a physical geography background - both influence how and what he teaches. Big societal problems usually need big, multidisciplinary solutions, thus an earth science background is ideally suited for problems that bridge natural and social systems. Take a GEOL course and see for yourself.. then become a geology minor or major and join our program!!
