ABOUt

I am an ecologist, educator, and conservation scientist with a passion for understanding how plants and ecosystems respond to environmental change. As an Assistant Teaching Professor of Biology at Kansas State University, I teach courses in ecology, ornithology, and organismal biology while conducting research focused on plant adaptation, drought resilience, and prairie conservation. My work combines field ecology, genomics, and science education to address questions about biodiversity, climate change, and ecosystem restoration. Whether in the classroom, the field, or the community, I enjoy sharing the wonder of the natural world and helping connect scientific discovery to conservation action.
