I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Kinesiology and Public Health programs focused on physical activity behavior and promotion. Specific courses I've taught include KIN 345 (Exercise Behavioral Science), an introductory course on multilevel determinants of physical activity and inactivity, KIN 655/755 (Individual Physical Activity Promotion), an upper-level elective that provides in-depth study and application of individual-level determinants, theories, and intervention approaches, KIN 805 (Physical Activity and Human Behavior), a graduate health behavior theory and application course, KIN 890 (Graduate Seminar in Kinesiology), a course to enhance graduate students' written and oral science communication skills, and KIN 606/630 (Applied Health Behavior Counseling), an undergraduate elective course that equips students to conduct one-on-one health behavior counseling with individuals in applied health and wellness settings.
