Xin Yang

Dr. Yang’s research interests include food as medicine, precision nutrition, grain-based functional foods, nutrient delivery systems, edible biomaterials, AI-enabled food discovery, smart food manufacturing, and sustainable valorization of agricultural side streams. His lab integrates food chemistry, biomaterials, nanotechnology, microbiome science, and data-driven approaches to develop next-generation food technologies that improve human health and advance sustainable food systems.
