Rebecca Barrett-Fox

Dr. Rebecca Barrett-Fox is an assistant professor of integrated studies in Kansas State University's College of Technology and Aviation. She is a scholar of American religion and hate, with a focus on terrorism, rightwing political and social movements, gender and sexuality, and race and ethnicity. She also researches higher education, religion, and politics. She is the author of _God Hates: Westboro Baptist Church, American Nationalism, and the Religious Right_, as well as scholarly articles in venues as varied as _Journal of Religion and Violence_, _Radical Teacher_, and _Contention_. She is the editorial board chair of _Journal of Hate Studies_. She holds degrees from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, and the University of Kansas.
