Prasad Parchuri

Dr. Prasad Parchuri is committed to student-centered, research-driven teaching that integrates fundamental concepts with modern applications in biology. He has taught Principles of Biology (BIOL 198) and plans to teach Cell Biology, with an emphasis on linking core cellular processes to real-world biological systems. He is also developing a synthetic biology course that combines molecular techniques, experimental design, and data analysis to provide hands-on training. His teaching approach incorporates active learning, critical analysis of primary literature, and research-based problem solving to prepare students for careers in science and biotechnology.
