FUNDING

Dr. Chronister's research centers on contemporary literature, women writers, discourses of German unification aroun 1990, and embodiment. She has published on Jenny Erpenbeck, Judith Hermann, Antje Rávik Strubel, and Juli Zeh, among other contemporary authors, in both academic venues and the literary magazine World Literature Today. Her monograph, Domestic Disputes: Examining Discourses of Home and Property in the Former East Germany, appeared with De Gruyter in 2021. Her co-edited volume, with Sonja E. Klocke and Lars Richter, Juli Zeh: A Critical Companion, appeared with De Gruyter in 2024. Dr. Chronister is currently expanding her work on German unification with a new research project on television.
