ABOUt

Mohammad Saber Hashemi is a tenure-track assistant professor in the Mike Wiegers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Kansas State University. He earned his doctorate in engineering mechanics and master's in computer science from Iowa State University in 2023, where he developed machine learning frameworks for scientific computing and novel material design with biomedical applications. Prior to joining K-State, he was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Irvine, where he co-led NIH-funded research on cardiac flow dynamics and developed AI-based tools for 4D echocardiographic image analysis.
