Amino acids, energy, minerals, and practical feeding programs are all areas of interest for Dr. Mike Tokach as a swine nutrition researcher. Because feed cost is 60 to 70% of the cost of raising a pig, anything that impacts the economics of feed and producer profitability is of interest.
