Megan Lorson

Megan Lorson is an experienced mathematics educator with a strong academic background and over a decade of teaching experience in higher education. She earned a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her academic training includes advanced coursework in areas such as differential equations, probability theory, mathematical analysis, and applied mathematics. Professionally, Lorson has served as a Mathematics Instructor at Kansas State University Salina Campus since 2015, where she has taught a wide range of courses from intermediate algebra to calculus and statistics. In addition to teaching, she has contributed to curriculum development, assessment reporting, online course design, and departmental service, including committee work and leadership initiatives. Prior to this role, she was an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Sterling College, where she taught both introductory and advanced mathematics courses, developed online curriculum, advised students, and participated in faculty governance.
