ABOUt
Dr. Martin J. Talavera is Associate Professor in the School of Consumer Sciences at Kansas State University Olathe and Director of the Sensory and Consumer Research Center (SCRC). His work focuses on sensory and consumer science, with expertise in qualitative and quantitative consumer research, sensory evaluation, and consumer insights across food and non-food products.
He collaborates with industry and academic partners on applied research related to product development, sensory optimization, packaging evaluation, and consumer behavior. Dr. Talavera also teaches graduate-level courses in sensory and consumer research methodologies and statistical applications in sensory science.
