Mark Crosby

My research has appeared in national and international venues. I am a contributor to BRANCH: Britain, Representation, and Nineteenth-Century History (https://branchcollective.org), editorial advisor to Nineteenth-Century Literature Criticism Series and Poetry Criticism Series Gale/Cengage), and is an associate editor for the William Blake Archive, the largest and most comprehensive free to access digital repository of Blake’s works on the web: www.blakearchive.org

My research on William Blake's apprenticehsip featured on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme and in print media, including Reuters, The Times, The Smithsonian Magazine, and The Art Newspaper. I have delivered public lectures on Blake at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, the Blake Society of London, and the University of Missouri. I have curated exhibitions at the Bodleian Library, University of Oxford and was the curatorial advisor for three major international exhibitions: William Blake Apprentice and Master, Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (2014), William Blake and the Age of Aquarius, Block Museum of Art, Northwestern University (2017), and The Visionary World of William Blake, the Getty Museum, Los Angeles (2023-4).
