Margaret Mohr-Schroeder

Dr. Margaret Mohr-Schroeder is an accomplished educator and Program Chair of Secondary Mathematics since 2006, having taught seventeen different classes across four distinct programs, including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels in mathematics and STEM education. Her teaching is guided by a philosophy focused on fostering a community of learners, explicitly modeling research-based best practices, promoting self-reflection, and grounding instruction in current educational theory. A key achievement includes leading the development of the STEM PLUS program, the first four-year undergraduate STEM Education major in the U.S. Dr. Mohr-Schroeder is also an active advisor, having chaired or co-chaired 15 doctoral committees and 77 initial certification master's degree committees, with teaching and course evaluations consistently meeting or exceeding department averages.
