Laura Kanost

Laura Kanost teaches and writes about translation, Latin American literature and culture, and disability studies. She holds a rare bidirectional (Spanish to English and English to Spanish) certification from the American Translators Association. Dr. Kanost infuses many of her classes with community-based learning to provide real-world experiences for her students, and she volunteers as a translator for TED.
