FUNDING
Dr. Jun Li's research focuses on focuses on fabrication of nanomaterials and nanoarchitectures (including nanostructured carbon, semiconductors, metallic nanoparticles and metal oxides) and integrating them into functional devices for energy conversion and storage (for lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors and solar cells), electrocatalysis (for fuel cells and Li-S batteries), environmental remediation (for capacitive deionization and photocatalytic toxicant degradation), biosensors (for cancer diagnosis, pathogen detection and neural electrical interface), and novel electronics components (such as carbon nanotube interconnects and thermal interface materials).
