ABOUt

Dr. Crain completed his BS and MS in plant and soil science from Oklahoma State University, and a PhD in genetic from Kansas State University. His research has focused on soil fertility and nutrient management (BS and MS) to applying high-throughput phenotyping in wheat breeding programs (PhD). After completing his PhD, Dr. Crain has worked to apply genomic selection to intermediate wheatgrass, a perennial plant that is being domesticated as a grain crop.
