Hyung Jin Kim

Kim's pedagogy emphasizes evidence-based design at the nexus of environmental design and human behavior. By leveraging quantitative data and spatial analysis, he focuses on fostering healthier, more inclusive, and resilient communities. Kim teaches courses ranging from introductory Urban Planning to Landscape Architecture studios and research methods. He also serves as the Director of the Ph.D. Program in Environmental Design and Planning.
