SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Gregory Eiselein offers workshops and presentations to high schools about the first-year of college and how to thrive in college. He also offers university presentations and public talks, including community book clubs and reading groups, on U.S. literature (especially authors such as Louisa May Alcott and Walt Whitman) and on Stoicism in American literature.

The criteria include: --Impact on and involvement with undergraduate students; --A scholarly approach to teaching and learning’ --Contributions to undergraduate education in the institution, community, and profession, and --Support from current and former undergraduate students.
