Dr. Brase studies human adaptive reasoning and decision-making from a multidisciplinary approach. Specifically, he uses evolutionary theory to generate hypotheses about how the mind has been designed over evolutionary history. He also frames these hypotheses as information processing descriptions of how the mind works.
