Daniel Andresen

Daniel Andresen is a professor of Computer Science and department head at Kansas State University, where he also oversees the Beocat high-performance computing cluster; his work focuses on distributed systems, high-performance computing, and research cyberinfrastructure, with applications spanning domains such as agriculture, biology, and engineering. He has been a faculty member at K-State since 1997, earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has held leadership roles including program director and consultant for the National Science Foundation's Computer and Network Systems division, contributing to national research initiatives.
