FUNDING
Dr. Geisbrecht's laboratory has subject-matter interests related to functioning of the innate immune system (particularly complement and neutrophils), as well as understanding the molecular basis of infectious diseases and host-pathogen/parasite interactions. From a experimental perspective, Dr. Geisbrecht has broad interests in structural biology and molecular interactions, as well as structure-based drug design.
