TEACHING
Chanyakorn’s teaching focuses on foundational design education, visual thinking, experiential learning, and place-based study. His courses use observation, drawing, watercolor, model making, travel, and reflective practice to help students develop attention, spatial understanding, cultural awareness, and independent ways of thinking. He teaches across foundational and advanced design studios, seminars, advanced drawing and watercolor courses, and international education programs. His advanced studio teaching includes international and culturally situated collaborations, such as the 2025 Victor Regnier Visiting Studio with PAVA Architects in Bangkok. Across these settings, he is particularly interested in how direct experience can deepen students’ understanding of architecture, landscape, culture, and place.
